A Sofa With Style

or maybe I'd like one that can transform into a club house or
guest room with no effort! http://pinkwallpaper.blogspot.com

This sofa is a perfect shade of grapefruit pink. I think it may be my favorite color.

Not my usual style...

but I do love the lamps
actually, I really like this room!

Redwork Quilt

My favorite from Tall Grass Prairie Studios. The aqua is trendy but really works in this quilt.
I might try it with a soft green and bold red. See details and more pictures here and here.

Scrappy Hedgerow Quilt

I love the fussy cut centers and monochromatic rings with white sashing. I am drawn to white sashing! I think I'll  include them in my next project.

Oh, Fransson! has many quilts I really like and great tutorials. She uses great quilting fabrics, but not the same ol' same ol' that I see on many other sites.

quilt binding with basting glue

I have always dreaded binding a quilt but this tutorial from Sharon Schamber made binding Kate's quilt easy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PE0Yq9iGlc

Her tricky basting glue worked great. It's not much to look at, but it sure made binding easier. In this picture she used the tip from a Bic pencil, but I found inexpensive real tips at Hobby Lobby in the model making department.

She also has instructions for tying a quilter's knot and making your own pressing board.

the painted wall tree

Don't know where I got it but I love the tone on tone, not too subtle, but still restful.

Kids Capes

See more darling capes here. Will would love these. Maybe for his birthday?

Perfect Christmas Decor

is found in magazines, like Country Living 2001.
Almost ten years later I still want a tree that looks like this.... I just don't want to put it up, take it down, or store it.

It would be fun to "Make Mine Merry" with all this "Color and Sparkle". But then again I might go crazy with so much "stuff and clutter". www.sisboom.com

And just in case this isn't enough I really need this PB card holder, a few nutcrackers, and a rug.
